Mother of two boys, I work full time and attempt school to further my career. I'm attempting blogging to see if it will bring in an income and will give me an outlet to show case the craziness that's my life. I'm building my blog with a mixture of reviews, life stories/events and life lessons/current events and outcomes. Hopefully you'll find some interesting and helpful material here as well. I'll introduce myself. My name is Amanda, I have to sons who are my whole world and I'm a single working mother. Times are stressful as their father doesn't help and usually causes problems. I truly love to work and enjoy what I do. I'm working for a local physicians group by billing and collecting from insurances or patients; I tend to go back and forth between insurance collections and patient collections.
I genuinely try to help people all the time and will go out of my way to do anything I can to help them, even someone I feel is an "enemy". My boys are my world and I couldn't imagine life without them. They essentially saved my life because I was on a road to destruction before I knew I was pregnant.Even though I seem stressed all the time, it's not them but the situation. Being a single parent is hard, you have to be the good cop and bad cop and never get to just be mom.
I'm an animal lover and have a dog (Charmer), 4 cats (1 inside, Dax, and 3 outside, Bella, Little Guy and Beaker) and 2 bantam chickens (Spike the rooster and Yoakie the hen). I would love to have more but I just don't have the space, time, or money at the moment to grow my little farm. Charmer likes to play with Spike and it's funny to watch a little rooster chase a dog around the yard that's four times his size.
Gardening has become a relaxing past time for me and I successfully have a Roma tomato plant, just dug up some baby carrots and my pineapple is finally coming out. I have three rose bushes i'm very proud of and a few other beautiful plants that make me smile. When life get's to me I just walk outside and tend to my plants and smell my flowers and remember I am blessed.
